Day 01: Kinshasa
Arrive in Kinshasa and received by global bush representative, transfer to the hotel Royal for rest, tour briefing, dinner and night. (D)
Day 02: Congo River Cruise
After breakfast, enjoy an unforgettable day on the Congo River using a speed boat, cruise from Kinshasa to Maluku, seeing the wide-spanning Malebo Pool, the Congo River rapids, and Brazzaville, capital of the Republic of the Congo on the way, until you arrive at Maluku, a picturesque fisherman’s village. You will have the opportunity to share a great time with local people living on banks of the Congo River, crossing expansive and endlessly beautiful jungle, (B, L, D)
Day 03: Bonobo
Today, your guide drives you to the Bonobo Sanctuary (Lola Ya Bonobo) to visit our close cousin. One of the great apes with 99% genetic similarity with human beings, you can find Bonobos only in the DR Congo. Bonobos are victims of hunting, forest devastation, and are living under the risk of extinction. Bonobos are also chased for meat and the babies kept as pets. Around the site there are small waterfalls and a green lake offering a good time for the whole family in DRC’s most family-friendly attraction; you can taste local and traditional food under a smooth red-orange sunset. You will really enjoy ecotourism at its very finest and most responsible on the way to meet your fascinating relatives, the Bonobo’s, dinner and overnight at hotel Royal. (B, L, D)
Day 04: Zongo Waterfalls
Early morning after breakfast, we drive to Zongo waterfalls, an amazing and natural wonder located in the forest of Bas Congo. Enjoy the spectacle of a 65 m high waterfall that produces natural 10 m high jets, and have a natural bath if you wish! A real unforgettable moment for any adventurous spirit! Follow the guide and visit an electrical dam nearby, a small village, and discover where the Congo River meets Inkisi. Discover a small natural water pool in Etaka around Zongo, dinner and overnight at Seli Safari Zongo. (B, L, D)
Day 05: Kisantu (Botanical Garden)
After breakfast, drive to the Botanical garden of Kisantu. There’s an arboretum inside the garden with about 200 species. You will find many unique plants and trees from everywhere in the world, some of which are medicinal and often with mysterious properties. The Inkisi River crosses the garden and offers majestic spectacles. The entire garden has natural plants and trees collected for one of nature and science’s biggest treasure troves of species. Enjoy a unique time in Kisantu and its surroundings. Later drive to back Kinshasa for dinner and overnight. (B, L, D)
Day 06: City Tour
Today enjoy a historical exploration of Kinshasa, formerly called Leopoldville, from its most tyrannical menace, Kind Leopold II of Belgium. This now huge city was once just a fisher’s village called Insasa. This is a unique occasion for you to learn about Kinshasa’s rich history. We visit the National Institute Museum, handcraft markets, historical statues to know more about the old city, and the first locomotive made in 1889. Stop and rest under the stately and unique Insasa Baobab tree. Gaze at the first hotel built in 1890, as well as the first church in Congo. Pass “Marche de valeur,” or Boboto Center, and buy some works of art and painted tables for your memory, dinner and overnight in Kinshasa hotel. (B, L, D)
Day 07: Traditional Dance and Show
After breakfast discover traditional songs and dances with the spirit of magic. Congolese tradition is often given by song and dance from generation to generation. We offer to you a moment to experience the soul of Congo with a traditional demonstration. Depart later to the airport for onward flight back home.

Day 01: Kinshasa
Arrive in Kinshasa and received by global bush representative, transfer to the hotel Royal for rest, tour briefing, dinner and night. (D)
Day 02: Kinshasa
After breakfast, pick up for visit to some notable features including SOZACOM Building and the Hotel Memling, the central market and continue to the country’s national stadium, Stade des Matyrs and the place that people often go to is the Boulevard du 30 Juin. It’s a place that links the city’s main areas and this is where the La Gombe district is located, La Gombe is the heart of the city. There are lots of restaurants that accommodate foreign taste. Supermarkets and internet cafes surround the place, so getting around is never a problem, dinner and overnight in hotel Royala Kinshasa. (B, L, D)
Day 03: Kinshasa
After breakfast, visit the Kinshasa Museum, the AAC Bonobo nursery sanctuary, the Kinshasa Fine Arts Academy that was founded around 1943 and now teaches ceramics, sculpture and painting; depart to the workshops of the cultural center with paint, malakite, bronze, wood … and after dinner and overnight.
Day 04: Mbandaka – Nganda-Ngomba
Early morning after breakfast, depart to the airport for flight to Mbandaka, upon arrival we board a canoe on the mighty Congo River to the village of Nganda-Ngomba. Meet and greet the local people before setting up our camp for dinner and overnight. (BLD)
Day 05: Congo River
This morning we learn about some of the traditional activities of the village including fishing and making palm wine. We then continue our descent down the river and stop at the village of Maba Banga where we learn how the local people weave using the kekele tree, dinner and overnight camping. (BLD)
Day 06 – 07: Lokuku
After breakfast, board a canoe to Lukuku located in the centre of the Congo Basin. Continue on board the canoe to Bikoro, located on the east coast, and disembark close to its market. Meeting our 4wd vehicles we travel on the only road in the region and then head deep into the lush rainforest to reach the pygmy village, Lokuku. Upon arrival meet the first inhabitants of the Congolese forests, we make camp and enjoy these first moments of total immersion in an unforgettable setting, dinner and overnight camping. (BLD)
Days 08: Lokuku
Breakfast and spendfull days in Lokuku to learn about local customs and take part in the everyday activities of the community. We learn about the daily life through activities which contribute to the cultural heritage we are trying to maintain, and grow more aware of the issues the inhabitants face regarding their survival. Activities will include going on traditional hunts, learning about medicinal plants, visiting nearby settlements and witnessing cultural activities such as traditional songs and dances. The inhabitants of Lokuku live very traditional lives largely untouched by the outside world and your stay here enables you to see a way of life that has largely disappeared elsewhere, dinner and overnight camping. Day 09: Lokuku – Ntaka
After breakfast, depart to a little fishing port of Ibeke and continue trek via the forest, regarded as the second lung of the planet, the rainforest is a major reservoir of biodiversity. Board a canoe along the river passing via small villages with traditional lifestyles to Ntaka. Upon arrival meet the inhabitants known as the Ekonda people, spend the night camping with them. (BLD)
Day 10 – Mbandaka
After breafast, we leave the forest behind and head to Mbandaka passing via small villages to the last settlement of any size that we have seen for many days. Upon arrival, check into a local hotel, dinner and night. (BLD)
Day 11: Kinshasa
Pick up early morning and depart to the airport for flight back to Kinshasa, upon a arrival leaisure time and flight back home. (B)
