  • Day 01: Douala

    Arrive at the Douala International Airport, received by the Global Bush representative, transfer and check-in to hotel Bano Palace for dinner and night.

    Day 02: Douala - Melong - Ekom – Nkam – Dschang

    Breakfast, departure for Dschang via the Ekom – Nkam waterfall in Melong, about 80 m. high which has served as a decor in a certain Film scenes, Tarzan.Stop over at the Ekom waterfalls, get down to where all the traditional rites are done and part take.  Continue drive through Melong the Mbo plain situateded at about 750 m high, the said earth road goes throughout the plain to the forest valley of about 700m; a steep climb towards the plateau before getting to the town of Dschang.   After picnic, takeoff back to Dschang for dinner and night in Emeraude hotel.

    Day 03: Dschang – Bafut – Bamenda

    Pick up after breakfast and depart for 152kms drive to Bamenda in the English speaking North West Region, upon arrival continue drive of 10km to Bafut which is one of the biggest and most beautiful of the Tikar chiefdoms in the North West Region visit the museum and watch the traditional masked Juju dances. While in Bafut you will learn how to prepare the Bafut traditional meal called the famous Achu and yellow soup which comprises of pounded Cocoyam eaten with yellow soup, very tasteful a traditional meal. Dinner and overnight will be in hotel Blue Pearl Nkwen.

    Day 04: Bamenda – Wum – Lake Nyos – Fundong.

    After breakfast, drive past the flood plains to Bafut to Wum, upon arrival visit the "dreaded Lake Nyos" which exploded in August 1986 and killed about 1700 people and many animals. There are efforts being made by the government of Cameroon, with support from the international scientific community to eliminate the gas in order to forestall future disasters. Visit Subum, the village which was abandoned by those who survived in 1986, but is now regaining life with its former inhabitants, who became refugees in other far-off villages, returning. After lunch continue to get to know their coping strategies. Visit to the Menchum Fall, Lake Wum and the Aghem Palace where the elderly Queen Mothers thrill the visitors with their exceptionally beautiful folklore and dance. Proceed to Fundong for dinner and night in a modest hotel.

    Day 05: Fundong - Laikom

    After breakfast ride through the beautiful hills to Fundong, it enables one to see far and wide the underlying areas occupied by sprawling villages with many beautiful farmlands; one may discover villagers on their farms. While in Fundong visit the highly venerated traditional ruler, His Kingdom is one of the largest in Cameroon. You will learn how to prepare the traditional meal of the Kom people called Fufu corn and Katti Katti which is made ground maize, huckleberry and village chicken locally called country fowl. This meal is eaten in almost all the ten regions of Cameroon and taste amazingly good. During this period you will learn about the famous story of the mystical antiquity called the Afo-Akom. This piece of carved object was stolen to one western museum, and while there it caused a lot of havoc by knocking down other antiquities, due to the fact that it was not feeling comfortable where it was. It was later brought back to Cameroon. It is believed to have much magical power which protects the entire Kingdom from any mishap. The ritual initiation will also confer on one the honorary citizenship of this Kingdom. And will have the possibility of discussing with the traditional ruler, dinner and overnight in a Tourist Home Fundong.

    Day 06: Fundong BamendaBafoussam – Foumban

    Breakfast, pick up for 4hrs drive to Baffoussam upon arrival visit the small mystical House, believed to be about 300 years old and contain all magical warfare tools used in protecting the community in times of war. After lunch continue to the city of Foumban with numbers of vestiges that attest to its past glory,  visit the Sultan’s Palace, the Royal Palace Museum and the Central Mosque, This town is known for its great cultural diversity, dinner and overnight in Pekassa hotel Foumban.

    Day 07: Foumban – Limbe 

    After breakfast, pick up for drive to Limbe, upon arrival brief city tour of Limbe visiting the Limbe Zoo whose role is the long term conservation of endangered wildlife species, wildlife species are made up of primates such as Drills and many other species, including reptiles, crocodiles, continue to hotel Seme Beach for dinner and night (3***).

    Day 08: Limbe – Kribi – Pygmy Village

     

    Breakfast; relaxing at beach and depart for kribi upon arrival continue to the pygmy’s village where you will take part in the daily life activities of the pygmies, forest people living in harmony with nature, food gathering, folklore, dancing etc. It is also an opportunity to discover a people who undergo changes but remain faithful to their ancestors, dinner and overnight in tents and/ or in the house of a resident.

    Day 09: Pygmies Village – Lobe Falls – Kribi

    Breakfast: departure for kribi via the Lobe waterfalls (the only place in the world where a waterfall enters the Atlantic Ocean through a water Cascade). Visit of one of the most beautiful beaches in the world with fine and golden sand that will provide you with smooth and pleasing feelings. Visit of the turtles’ museum. Lunch, Live it up in Kribi - a glitzy, palm-fringed playground for the rich, and relax on the beach while soaking up the glorious African sun, return to hotel for dinner and night.

    Day 10: kribi – Mefou National Park - Yaoundé

    Early morning after breakfast, pick up for drive to Yaoundé upon arrival continue drive to Mefou National Park which is some 40km out of Yaoundé city, to see a variety of primates, including large apes chimpanzees, and gorillas which are far too big and powerful for playful games, drills and mandrills in semi-captivity. The western lowland gorillas move their huge bodies slowly but gracefully through the bush and gazing calmly into the eyes of onlookers. The park is also rich in bird species and has electrified enclosure, return to Yaoundé for dinner and night in Hotel.

    Day 11: Yaoundé – Ebogo Ecotourism site

    After breakfast, visit to Ebogo a magical site located in a quiet green of the rainforest that offers visitors various attractions, including canoe rides on the river Nyong, the discovery of the "Big 300 year old Tree" about 12 meters in diameter, the capture a variety of butterflies, traditional fishing of various species of fish breeding tortoises in the succulent flesh, trekking in the forest on the nature trail, a vision of wild birds including parrots grouped up in an island; later in the evening return to hotel for dinner and night.

    Day 12: Yaoundé – Akono (Cave of Akok Bekoue)

    After breakfast, pick up for drive to Akono and visit the grotto of Akok a good place for pilgrimage situated some 13km from Mbalmayo. Equally visit the Cathedral of Akono and the grotto of Okkombe a place for meditation. Return to Yaoundé and drive to airport for onward flight back home.

  • Day 01: Douala

    Day 02: Douala - Kribi - Pygmies Village

    Depart to Kribi (178kms), upon arrival continue to the pygmies village where you will take part in their daily life activities, forest people living in harmony with nature, food gathering, folklore, dancing etc. it is also an opportunity to discover a people who undergo changes but remain faithful to their ancestors, dinner and overnight in hotel Tara Plage Kribi or in tents with the pygmy.     Day 03: Campo Beach      

    Early morning after breakfast, depart for visit to the Campo beach. On the way, discover the impressive falls of Menve’ele, and Lolabe villages. Arrival at Campo beach constituted of eco compartments and built in front of the Ntem river outlet and the ocean. Here you shall visit the crocodile puddle, archeological sites, and German and West African cemeteries. Have lunch; relax along the beach and drive back to Kribi for dinner and night at hotel Tarage. (B, L, D)

    Day 04: Ebodje Village    

    Pickup in the morning after breakfast and drive to Ebodje which is some 49km away from Kribi, meet with some local fishermen, visit villagers around to learn mutual respect, return to kribi for dinner and overnight in hotel Tara Plage. (B, L, D)

    Day 05: Kribi – Lobe Falls  

    Breakfast: departure for kribi via the Lobe waterfalls (the only place in the world where a waterfall enters the Atlantic Ocean through a water Cascade). Visit of one of the most beautiful beaches in the world with fine and golden sand that will provide you with smooth and pleasing feelings, relax and leisure activities on the sandy Kirbi beach, dinner and overnight. (B, L, D)

    Day 06: Kribi – Melong

    Breakfast; depart for Melong and visit the Ekom – Nkam waterfall, about 80 m. high which has served as a decor in a certain Film scenes, Tarzan.Stop over at the Ekom waterfalls, get down to where all the traditional rites are done and part take, picnic and drive back for dinner and overnight in Villa Luciole.

    Day 07: Melong – Limbe

    After breakfast depart for Limbe going through the colonial rubber and banana plantations, upon arrival discover of the town of Limbe with its colonial structures and a mild and temperate climate. Visit the Botanical Garden with its dense varied flora which constitutes a curiosity to be discovered at all cost (tree species and flowers). Visit to the Limbe Zoo (Animal Rescue Centre) whose role is the long term conservation of endangered wildlife species, watch the playful antics of the resident monkeys and gorillas. After Lunch, continue to the last mount Cameroon lava flow solidification site, in Bakingili, visits the site and then head for check in to hotel Seme beach. There is a possibility of all sporting activities and games, relaxing and swimming, lounge on the black volcanic sands of this quiet Seme beach, return to hotel Seme for dinner and overnight.     Day 08: Limbe (discovery of the Old Slave Trading Port)

    After breakfast, depart for visit to the Slaves route in Bimbia, the site of an old slave trading port where you can learn about the colonial times, where slaves were assembled for exportation to Europe and America during the slave trading period. There are some historical attractions still present in Bimbia today. They include; Old German Wharf where ships anchored for the embarkation of slaves, chains used on slaves and abandoned Ship, Nichol Island (site that harbored slaves prior to their journey to the new world) etc. Drive back to the town of Limbe, for dinner and overnight in hotel Seme Beach. (B, L, D)

    Day 09:  Limbe – Douala

    Breakfast: relax on the black seme beach and depart for Douala upon arrival visit the flower and artifacts center for purchase of Cameroonian souvenirs. This is because before going home many people like buying souvenirs and in Cameroon you can find really nice artistic pieces, Masks, bags, bronze statuettes, games and all kinds of different interesting things will be available, depart to the Douala International Airport, departure formalities, and farewell greetings, take off and end of the visit.
