Day 01: Douala
Arrive at Douala International airport, received by Global Bush representative, transfer to hotel Bano Palace for check in and overnight.
Day 02: Douala – Bamenda – wum (Okpwa)
After breakfast, pick-up for early drive via the ‘Ring Road’ to Bamenda passing via Dschang and Bafoussam, upon arrival have lunch and continue to Wum for visit to the Menchum Falls along the way, dinner and overnight in a tourist motel/tents or a village house. (B, L, D)
Day 03: Visit the Traditional Witch Doctor
After breakfast visit to the Witch doctors temple for traditional practices and preparation of herbs used for treating different illnesses. A drink of the Tabernanthe Iboga if available, dinner and night could be at the witch doctors house or the motel, either of them. (B, D)
Day 04: Visit to Oku village
After breakfast, Climb the Oku Mountain, at some point is the Kilum Mountain Forest, famous for having received much funding for the conservation of its rich biodiversity, which includes endemic bird species and the threatened tree species called Pygeum Africana. The threat on this tree species came from the fact that western pharmaceutical companies were desperately searching for its bark as a raw material for the manufacturing of drugs for prostate cancer. The Oku Lake is found at some point on the mountain, and its surroundings constitute a field research center by natural scientists, May camp near the lake or return to the village for dinner and overnight. Day 05: Bamenda – Douala – Kribi
After breakfast, drive via Douala and arrive Kribi. Stop at Elog Batindi for visit to the pygmy camps, watching the pygmy-shows, dinner and overnight in Kribi. (B, D)
Day 06: Kribi – Pygmy Village
Breakfast; visit to the pygmies’ village and continue to the traditional pygmy healers, famous for their know-how in traditional medicines and by the late hours in the evening watch the pygmies perform the tortoise dance, dinner and night in tents with the pygmies. (B, L, D)
Day 07: Kribi – Douala
Breakfast; relax, swim and lounge on this quiet sandy Kribi beach, later in the afternoon depart for Douala and continue to Douala International Airport for evening flight back home and end of our tour services. (B)

BAMENDA RING ROAD TREKKING EXPEDITION
Day 01: Douala
Arrive at the Douala International Airport, received by the Global Bush representative, transfer and check-in to hotel Bano Palace for and night.
Day 02: Douala – Melong – Bamenda
Breakfast; depart for 135km drive to the Ekom – Nkam waterfall in Melong, about 80m. high which has served as a decor in a certain Film scenes, Tarzan.Upon arrival get down to where all the traditional rites are done and part take. Continue to Bamenda, upon arrival check into hotel Ayaba for dinner and overnight. (B, L, D)
Day 03: Bamenda – Bamungo – Ndop – Ndawara
After breakfast, pick-up for 52kms drives to Bamungo where you will visit the interesting palace and museum, wood carvers and blacksmiths at work. Continue to Ndop where rice cultivation is practiced intensively. At Ndawara get to know all the different sections of the upland tea enterprise, the largest in Central and West Africa, such as nurseries, young and mature plantations, workers harvesting, all aspects of the transformation process. Have a taste of the tea before leaving the factory, dinner and night in Modest Motel. (B, L, D)
Day 04: Ndawara – Kumbo – Ndu
Breakfast; visit the warehouse of an antiquity collector at Kedjom-Keku before going to the Tubah Upland. The collector will interpret the socio cultural significance of his antiquities and also give a brief history of the village. Continue for 67m drive to Kumbo via Bamessi (visit the cathedral and the leadership of NSOs) and later ride for 59km through the beautiful hills for overnight in a modest hotel in Ndu. (B, L, D)
Day 05: Ndu – Fundong – Laikom
Around Ndu, almost 2000m above sea level, the air is fresh and frankly the opportunity to take a large breath of fresh air before descending into the valley. The cultures still exist and they where been established by the English in the mid-1950s. Depart for 202km drive to Fundong upon arrival; visit the highly venerated traditional ruler. His Kingdom is one of the largest in Cameroon.
A ritual initiation is performed on any visitor willing to get into the interior of the palace, where the mystical antiquity called Afo-Akom is found. This piece of carved object was stolen to one western museum, and while there it caused a lot of havoc by knocking down other antiquities, due to the fact that it was not feeling comfortable where it was. It was later brought back to Cameroon. It is believed to have much magical power which protects the entire Kingdom from any mishap. The ritual initiation will also confer on one the honorary citizenship of this Kingdom. And will have the possibility of discussing with the traditional ruler, dinner and overnight in a Tourist Home Fundong. (B, L, D)
Day 06: Laikom – Wum – Lake Nyos
After breakfast, depart for 44km drive to Wum, on the banks of the meandering River Menchum, at one point watch hefty busy loading sand into large trucks, heading for Bamenda. The River Menchum has a large waterfall at one point. It is quite interesting to watch the splashing waters from this fall and feel the refreshing air emanating from there. Take a journey from the waterfall to the lake. Lake is dreaded for having exploded in 1986 and the toxic gas it produced killed about 1700 persons and many animals.
A lot of mystery still surrounds this event. The government of Cameroon embarked on a process to eliminate the gas found at the bottom of the lake, with technical and financial assistance coming from friendly nations. Visit the survivors who have returned to Subum, their ancestral land, which they abandoned after the deadly event. Provide any assistance if possible. Return to Wum for overnight in a modest hotel. (B, D)
Day 07: Wum – Bamenda – Bafoussam
Early morning after breakfast, brief visit of Lake Wum and the Aghem Palace where the elderly Queen Mothers thrill the visitors with their exceptionally beautiful folklore and dance before drive 80kms past the flood plains to Bamenda. Continue 82km drive to Bafoussam with its savanna and picturesque scene sunning cassava leaves along the road and which is well known for its cultural diversities, dinner and night in Bafoussam. Day 08: Bafoussam – Foumban – Douala
After breakfast, drive for 72kms to the city of Foumban with numbers of vestiges that attest to its past glory, visit the Sultan’s Palace, the Statute of king Njoya, the Royal Palace Museum, the Central Mosque, the Arts and Traditional Museum are all Testimonies of the Bamoun history. After lunch depart for 357km drive to Douala, upon arrival continue to the airport for onward flight back and end of our tour services.

CAMEROON ADVENTURE AND RESERVE DISCOVERIES
Day 01: Douala
Arrive at Douala International airport; receive by Global Bush representative, transfer to the hotel, for dinner and night.
Day 02: Douala – Creeks Kwa Kwa River – Douala – Edea Reserve – Mouanko (4hrs)
We will eat breakfast and discuss about the day’s program and the tour in general. From Douala center we will drive to Youpwe port from where we will take a big motor pirogue to get to Mouanko. The trip along the creeks, mangrove forests, and small fishing villages it is just amazing. It is like travelling to the heart of the virgin forest where real Africa still thrives. After a 4h pirogue ride we will reach the colonial town of Mouanko. We will have lunch and in the afternoon we will visit a Bakola pygmy community to get to know about their life: traditional medicine, gathering and hunting techniques will me shown to the visitors that will exchange experiences with the tribal community. Before it gets dark we will return to Mouanko to spend the night, Grilled fish and a nice Cameroonian salad to celebrate the intense day.
Day 03: Mouanko - Pongo Songo Island – Douala – Dschang Keleng (6h)
Early after breakfast, from Mouanko we will take once again the motor pirogue to reach the heart of the Sanaga River where the Pongo Songo chimpanzee sanctuary is located. With the Reserve guard we will reach the islands where the primates can be observed from a distance. Meeting our closest relatives is stunning in all senses. We will learn about the problems the big primates’ face all around the world: poaching for bush meat, illegal commerce, deforestation and we will see how local initiatives such as Pongo Songo are an opportunity for the last wild chimpanzee communities. From the Reserve we will move to Mariemberg, an old German colonial enclave with its Sixth Century church and small cemetery. After a short visit we will take a private bus to the Cameroon Highlands. It is a long trip but the scenery is so wonderful and with constant changes that it is highly enjoyable, picnic in a local market along the way. In the late afternoon we will reach the Kingdom of Keleng. The forested Cameroon will be left behind to enter a mountain territory populated by highly structured kingdoms belonging to the Bamileke culture. Welcome ceremony, dinner and night in the palace’s dormitories.
Day 04: Keleng - Baranka - Keleng (1h)
After breakfast we will meet the hosting family composed by His Majesty the Fon or King of Keleng and his several wives (the Bamileke people are polygamous) and the many princess and princesses that conform the Royal Family and our new friends. We will get to know about the different aspects of the Bamileke culture and we will plan with the Heir to the Throne an activity that will gather the visitors and the visited: painting one of the palace’s sacred walls and learning local dances. We will drive to the small village of Baranka to meet the school director and the students, activities in Baranka village and before noon we will go back to Keleng Palace to have dinner and spend the night where the queen mother will introduce to us the Cameroonian cooking techniques and the delicious local gastronomy.
Day 05: Keleng - Fulani Village – Baranka Keleng (1h)
Early after breakfast, depart for a 3hrs excursion to a small pastoralist community that has to be reached by foot. We will reach the village after a 1h30 walking trip. We will meet the Fulani tribe and learn about their culture organized around their goats and cows. After the visit we will drive to Baranka to continue sharing our thoughts and ideas with the Baranka students and a farewell party will be organized. We will return to Keleng Kingdom for dinner and sleep.
Day 06: Keleng - Ekom Nkam Falls - Limbe (6h)
Early breakfast and after saying good bye to local community, we will continue to the Atlantic Coast. On our way we will stop at the Ekom Nkam Waterfall where Tarzan film was filmed in 1984. We will reach Limbe for visit to the old British colonial town, in the afternoon. We will get installed in the hotel, located in a virgin beach with the immense Mount Cameroon (4090mts) behind, dinner and relaxing night in front of the sea.
Day 07: Limbe – Douala (1h)
Breakfast at the beach, last hours to enjoy the tropical atmosphere of Limbe’s volcanic beaches, surfing can be practiced in the Limbe Bay. After lunch we will go to Douala, where you can take a last visit to the Cameroonian artisan products of the Flower Market (on the way to the airport).

DISCOVERY OF THE PYGMY KINGDOM
Day 1: Douala
Arrive at Douala International Airport, receive by Global Bush representative, and transfer to hotel for dinner and overnight. (D)
Day 02 – 04: Douala – Yaoundé – Abong Mbang –Mindourou
Very early in the morning after breakfast, we board our 4 x 4 to Abong Mbang, we have 584 km of driving; the road is asphalted in a great distance as we traverse the forest of the Centre Plateau passing through Awae, Ayos and several other small and big villages visiting their local people and taking pictures, attractive sights along the road, splendid landscapes, historic sites, local markets, various types of dwellings. Continue to Mindourou, Stopover in Djouyaya to visit the pygmies’ village, famous for their know-how in traditional medicines and by the late hours in the evening watch the pygmies perform the tortoise dance, dinner and night in tents with the pygmies. Day 05: Mindourou – Lomie
Pick-up early morning after breakfast for departure by 4wheel drive to Lomie passing through Nkoul village, upon arrival at the pygmy camp in Lomie, learn about the interesting aspects of the pygmy life, their housing pattern and family structure, eating habits, folklore and dances, dinner and overnight in Lomie. (B, D)
Day 06 – 07: Lomie
Spend the whole day trekking with Pygmies in the forest and learn their hunting techniques, traditional medicines, and how they master the forest environment, so much that some of them can trek over hundreds of kilometers without using any scientific apparatus such as GPS or compass. While in the forest with Pygmies discover the unique rain forest species of plants, insects, birds and some mammals to a lesser extent, because they are very rare, especially gorillas whose population has greatly reduced because of too much poaching, overnight in the forest camping. Day 08: Lomie – Abong Mbang – Yaounde
Return from the forest after breakfast brief activities with the pygmy and drive later in the evening for Yaoundé, upon arrival, dinner and night in Yaoundé. (B, D)
Day 09: Yaounde – Kribi – Lolodorf
Pick up after breakfast and depart to Kribi, continue to Lolodorf (a name that dates back the German colonial era) upon arrival, lunch before visiting the pygmy’s settlement. Cultural manifestation will follow in the evening during which you will discover and appreciate pygmies’ traditional dances with smooth tones and step-based fantastic rhythm, out-of-door dinner and bivouac or overnight in tents. Day 10: Lolodorf – Bipindi
Breakfast, visit to the village and a rapid green trip to experience life in the forest. Depar for Bipindi upon arrival visit of the Bipindi pygmies’ village and their traditional settlements: possible interview and pictures with the chief, various recreational activities, dinner and out-door night. (B, L, D)
Day 11: Bipindi – Kribi – Lobe
Breakfast, depart for Lobe via Kribi. Arrival, visit to the Lobe Cascade (the only place in the world where a waterfall enters the Atlantic Ocean through a water Cascade). Beautiful rapid sceneries of the sea and relaxation on the beach, lunch in a restaurant where you can enjoy fresh sea products, continue to visit to the Grand Batanga Museum with very varied and diversified artifacts, dinner and night in Kribi. Day 12: Kribi – Ebodje
Pickup in the morning after breakfast and drive to Ebodje which is some 49km away from Kribi, meet with some local fishermen, visit villagers around to learn mutual respect, continue visit to the ‘Rocher du loup’ (the rock of the wolf) and the beautiful beach with fine and golden sand that will provide you with smooth and pleasing feelings, return for dinner and overnight in hotel Tara Plage. Day 13: kribi – Douala
Breakfast, leisure activities and depart for the Douala and continue to the International Airport, departure formalities, farewell greetings and end of the visit. (B)

Day 01: Douala – Limbe
Arrival at the Douala International Airport, received by Global Bush representative and transfer to Limbe. Upon arrival brief city tour visiting the Limbe Wildlife Centre and continue to the last mount Cameroon lava flow solidification site in Bakingili, visit the site and then head for the hotel Seme beach at Limbe for dinner and overnight.
Day 02: Limbe – Buea – Mount Cameroon Hut 1
Early morning after breakfast pick-up for (31km) drive to Buea, continue drive to the office for registration and continue to Upper farms (1,010 m) to begin the hike. We start hiking for about 3-4 hours inside the rainforest and arrive at Hut 1 (1,830 m). It is one of the largest Huts and a spring provides fresh drinking water thus permitting you to cross hectares of sugar cane plantation. We shall have a brief rest at Hut 1 while having our lunch. Start off and hike for 4-5 hours through the Savannah to Hut 2 (2,780 m altitude), here there is no water. From Hut 1 to Hut 2, the trail is continuously steep and rocky. We shall camp at this hut for our first night up Mount Cameroon.
Day 3: Hut 2 to Hut 3.
Early in the morning after breakfast, we depart from Hut 2 to Hut 3. The climb is a little steep and could take about 4-5 hours hiking to Hut 3 (3,950 m) where we will have a rest. We shall continue till we get to the summit (4,095 m). We shall stay at the summit for 10 minutes while taking photographs. After we shall descend on the other trail until we arrive Mann’s spring on a gentle walk. This trail is almost level and less strenuous. This could take about 6 hours to arrive at Mann’s spring. On the way, we shall visit the old and new Craters and continue trekking through the Savannah until we get to Mann’s spring (2,260 m). There is a spring with fresh water to cool down your body heat; we shall camp for the second night here.
Day 4: Mann’s spring – Bokwango – Buea
Take off early in the morning from Mann’s spring passing through the savannah, old lava flows and the rainforest before arriving Bokwango Village. The trek could take about 5 hours to complete our trip. From Bokwango, we drive to the office to obtain our Certificates, Continue for dinner and overnight in hotel Eta palace Buea.
Day 05: Buea – Douala
Breakfast, drive to Douala upon arrival brief city tour of Douala, visit the Douala seaport, lunch at the white house restaurant and visit to the flower and artifacts center for purchase of Cameroonian souvenirs. Depart later in the evening for the Douala international airport, farewell and take off.

Day 01: Yaoundé
Arrive at Yaoundé International airport, received by Global Bush representative, transfer to hotel Merina for tour briefing by tour guide, dinner and overnight. (D)
Day 02: Yaoundé – Ngaoundere
Early morning after breakfast, city tour of Yaoundé, visit the Benedictine and Mont Febe Museum, the Cameroon Art Museum, the zoo at Mvog-betsi and the Reunification Monument; drive later in the afternoon to the train station to board a train for the Adamawa Region, dinner and night on board the train. (B, L, D)
Day 03:Ngaoundere – Poli
Breakfast upon arrival in Ngaoundere in the morning then drive to freshen up in a hotel. Pick up later for 225kms drive to poli where you will visit the Fulani and fulbe population and learn how they live, dinner and night in a motel in Poli. (B, L, D)
Day 04: Poli – Atlantika Mountains (Koma Tribe, Bimlerou Haut, Bas)
Breakfast and depart for the Wangai chief’s palace, after visit our trekking proper starts. We will get to discover the Atlantika Mountains with the Koma natives’ still living the primeval life style. (Wearing tree leaves in the place of clothes) and visit the village’s craftsmen (potters, spinners, artisans, weavers. This gives us the opportunity to see how interesting and authentic a unique life style is. We thereafter trek to the heart of the mountains, and then later drive back to Poli for dinner and night or in tents on the Mountain. (B, D)
Day 05: Poli – Garoua – Guider
After breakfast, drive to Garoua and have lunch upon arrival. Later continue drive to Guider, where we shall visit the fantastic “ gorges de kola “ , Traditional dances of northern region and meet the famous wizard who can predict our future (crab fortune teller), the Lamido and Museum and then dinner and night at a hotel. Day 06: Guider – Rhumsiki – Tourou Market
Early after breakfast, drive from Guider to Rhumsiki which is home to the breath-taking Kapsiki volcanic dykes and incredible scenery coupled with the rustic Mandara villages and lifestyles. After lunch, drive to Tourou, discover the famous market (the Goudour women with calabashes on the head, of which the color and the drawing of their “hat ” indicate if they are yes or no brides), small Kirdi village, of Goudoums and Mokte (celebrates by this border, picturesque market and the women covered of calabashes come assembled, dinner and night at the Rhumsiki lodge. Day 07: Rhumsiki – Mora – Waza National Park
After breakfast pick up for drive to Waza passing via Mora for visit to the Lamido palace at Mora. Visit the bi-centenary kingdom of king Mozogo with his 50 wives and at least 113 children. Continue to waza and visit the animist populations of the region, dinner and night in Waza Lodge. (B, L, D)
Day 08: Waza National Park
After breakfast, whole day game drive in the Waza National park viewing lions, giraffe, elephants, antelope, water hogs, birds, Waza national park (the abundance of birds species makes the park a great reserve in Cameroon), later in the evening return to the Campement de Waza for dinner and night. (B, L, D)
Day 09: Waza – Ngaoundere
Early morning after breakfast, depart for Ngaoundere, upon arrival continue to the train station for evening departure to Yaoundé – dinner and night onboard the train. (B, D)
Day 10: Yaoundé
Breakfast upon arrival; leisure activities then depart for the Yaoundé International Airport, departure formalities, and farewell greetings, take off and end of the visit. (B)

Day 03 – 06: Assembly of local hunters and the village traditional practitioner to the G’bayas village near Guider for observation, filming and preparation of the snake hunt, this can take approximately 3days.
Day 07 – 10: Go for the snake Hunt and filming
Day 11 – 12: Go to the Gabaya snake market for filming/purchase of the various snake skins available.
Day 13: Transfer to Garoua for flight to Yaoundé.
Day 14: Fly out of Yaoundé.
