Cameroon Dja Reserve is still not well known and is part of the World Heritage Site. With a surface area of 5.260kn-. it shares a boundary with River Dja and a stream of villages with a population of about 6.000 people. This fauna reserve is of high biological diversity: we can identify more than 100 mammal species, more than 320 bird species and 1500 plants species. Thus, we are inviting you to share in the daily life of pygmies for 6days, in a natural and exceptional setting away from Urban noise and daily pollution.

Day 01: Yaoundé

Arrival of visitors, reception at the Yaoundé Nsimalen International Airport and transfer. Lodging, dinner and night.

Day 02: Yaoundé – Lomie

Breakfast. Departure for Lomie (363km), passing through Awae, Ayos, Mbang, Mindourou and several other small and big villages. There are many attractive sights along the road: splendid landscapes, historic sites, local markets, various types of dwellings. Arrival and lodging at Hotel “le Raphia”. Dinner and night.

Day 03 to 08: The Dja Reserves

A five-day walk in the Dja Reserve to discover gorillas. You will take part in the culture, daily lif of the pygmies, forest people living in harmony with nature. The days will be organized around hunting, food gathering, folklore, dancing etc. it is also an opportunity to discover a people who undergo changes but remain faithful to their ancestors. You can spend the night at the Hotel, in tents and/ or in the house of a resident.

Day 09: Dja Reserve – Yaoundé

Return to Lomie and departure for Yaoundé. Lunch at Abong-Mbang and continuation to Yaoundé. Dinner, leisure and night.

Day 10: Yaoundé – Brussels

Breakfast, visit of the city of yaounde (the Reunification Monument, Mvog-betsi Zoo, National Museum, etc). lunch at Bois Sainte Anastasie Restaurant, return to the hotel and departure for yaounde Nsimalen International Airport. Departure formalities, farewell greetings and take off.
