Day 01: Yaoundé

Arrival of participants to the Yaoundé Nsimalen International Airport. Welcome, transfer and installation. Leisure activities, dinner and night spent in the hotel.

Day 02: Yaoundé – Ngaoundere

Breakfast and visit of the Yaoundé city (National museum, the Reunification Monument, the Charles Atangana Monument…) lunch and departure to Ngaoundere by train early in the afternoon. Discovery of different colorful villages where the population proposes different food items at down-to-earth prices at each station. Each station constitutes a thrilling moment with lots of prime times and emotions, different from each other. Dinner and night on board the train.

Day 3: Ngaoundere – Benoue National Park.

Breakfast in the train. Arrival in Ngaoundere Cameroon water reservoir during the day, a transition zone between the south and the North. The cosmopolitan population is happy and welcoming; this gives confirmation of Cameroon as “the synopsis of Africa”. A brief visit to the town with a beautiful panoramic view of Mount Ngaoundere. Visit to the Vina waterfalls and Tison Lake. Lunch and departure to the Benoue National Park. Arrival, safari in the afternoon in the 180 000 hectares park classified as a world heritage site by UNESCO in 1980; search for Hippopotamus, rhinos, lions, giants elands, etc. installation, Leisure activities. Dinner and night in the Camp.

Day 04: Benoue National Park – Garoua – Rhumsiki

Breakfast, Safari in the Park, departure to Rhumsiki via Garoua (Lunch) and Pitoa (hippopotamus pond). Continuation. Arrival and installation in the hotel. Beautiful panoramic view of sun-set. Leisure activities. Dinner and night in the camp.

Day 05: Rhumsiki – Djingliya – Waza

Breakfast, visit to the crab wizard who will predict your future with an amazing precision; Visit to Potters and weavers to discover their wonderful works; shopping. Departure for the Waza National Park, stopover at the Djingliya Handicraft Cooperative Center with figurines from all origins, a true reflection of the colorful artistic culture of Cameroon. View of terraces and beautiful traditional huts. Lunch and departure for Oudjilla via Mora where you will discover and appreciate the local architecture, not forgetting the great moment with the meeting of this traditional ruler with his 50wives and more than 110 children. Continuation and arrival in Waza. Installation in the Camp. Leisure activities. Dinner and night.

Day 06: Waza – Maroua –Garoua

Early morning safari (to take animals by surprise at the developed drinking points) in the search of Lions, elephants, giraffes and other species. Departure for Maroua, shopping and lunch. Departure for Garoua. Arrival and visit to the handicraft centre (possibility of doing shopping). Continuation to the hotel. Dinner, leisure activities and night.

Day 07: Garoua – Ngouandere – Yaoundé

Breakfast, early departure from Garoua to Ngaoundere. Arrival and visit of the Lamidat. Lunch and continuation to the railway station. Boarding of the train for Yaoundé. Dinner and night on board the train.

Day 08: Yaoundé

Breakfast on board the train, arrival in Yaoundé early in the morning. Visit to the Mvog Betsi Zoo-botanical garden. Return to the hotel and lunch. Departure for the afternoon. Departure formalities. Farewell greetings. Take off and end of the visit.
