Localization
Central Africa country, Cameroon is located between the 2nd and the 13th of the northern latitude, the 9th and the 16th eastern longitude, at the end of the Gulf of Guinea. He is border to Nigeria and the Atlantic Ocean in the West, Equatorial Guinea, Gabon and the Republic of Congo in the south, Central Republic, Chad in the East and Lake Chad in the North.
Surface area
475,442km2, latitude: 1200km2 from North to South and Longitude: 800km from East to West.

There are two official languages: French and English. Added to these, more than 200 vernacular languages.

Art and culture
Cameroon possesses a multitude of ethnic groups. His cultural diversity is shown through his cultural manifestation, his cookery art and architecture of his traditional buildings. Moreover the country overflows with artists and craftsmen who exercised in various domains. Such as music, weaving, stringing, woodcarvings, bronze carving and ivory carving, tanning, etc.
Climate
Two main climate domains
Equatorial domain: abundant precipitation, high and steady temperature with thick vegetation degrading as you move away from the equator.
The tropical domain: high temperature and less abundant precipitation, of either the Sudan type (rainy season from May to October, dry season from November to April) or Sahel type with very irregular precipitation but absent from November to May).
Population
The population is very dynamic. According to the last censor (1976, 2005), it shows a crescendo evolution. Thus, it has passed from 7.663.246 inhabitants in 1976 to 19.406.100 inhabitants in 2005
Peopling
The first inhabitants of Cameroon were the pygmies. The Bantus, the Semites, the Hamates Kirdies, Sudanese and numerous interbreeding came to them.
Density
The density of the population is 41 inhabitants per km2, however, the Western, Littoral, Far- North and North- West regions are the most densely populated. Meanwhile Adamawa, East and South region are less populated.

All season, but it depends on each region:
-The entire North: from November to June
-The coastal area, the mountains region (West and North –West) and part of centre: all seasons.
-The forestry zone (south and East): from November to April
